Les wanted to drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel; it was as impressive as expected - three long bridge/viaducts with two mile-long tunnels between, totalling about 15 miles. Not many good pictures - it was raining, and there weren't any accessible viewpoints, other than a stopping point at the southernmost tunnel entrance. We did at least see some dolphins. There were also various ships about - many of them Navy ones as it's very close to various bases. |
