Yesterday evening's buffet turned out not to have been so good after all. Les was awake all night with sickness & diarrhoea. Too ill to do anything. Les stayed in bed virtually all day. Anne simply pottered. Les couldn’t eat but got through loads of water. Anne bought some Peptobismol stomach settlers and these seemed to work reasonably well. Anne looked up the Plaza Casino on TripAdvisor - all the comments on the hotel complained that it’s dirty - wished we’d read them first!! Should’ve gone to McDonalds.

Phoned MGM Grand and they said they would refund the tickets for Cirque de Soleil but we had to go there. As they’d been bought on Les’s credit card he had to be present to authorise the refund. Les got up around 3.30pm. Although it’s only a short distance we took a cab there and back. They refunded the full amount with only a small admin fee.

Back to the hotel and Les back to bed. Anne went off and did a bit of shopping, then bought a McDonalds filet of fish and salad to take back to the room. Les still not eating. Anne did the packing and checked in online. Managed to move our seats forward from row 60 to row 40 (less turbulence but still close to toilets).
