Sunday 4th to Saturday 10th July 2010

An enjoyable few days spent with Dick & Pam at their house in Pont-Aven, near the south coast of Brittany.

What follows is essentially the diary that we typed up as we went along, with some of the photos that we took. At the bottom of each day's page  is a link to a gallery of all the photos that we took on that day (except for Sunday 4th when we didn't take many photos).

There isn't a separate page for Saturday 10th July as we simply had breakfast and then Dick & Pam drove us to the airport at Brest. Had coffee with them before going through security. All went well until we were being pushed back from the gate, when a warning light came on. We eventually took off on a replacement plane at 8.40pm. We were give free drink and food during the eight hour wait - half a round of cheese and ham sandwich!!! We got back home, after a quick dash into Sainsbury's at Ferndown, at 10.30pm. An unfortunate and stressful end to a lovely week
